The grand finale of Canton Beauty Expo- Autumn Edition was held in Pazhou Complex B, September 19, 2014.
Canton Beauty Expo (The Expo for short) has composed the new trio of beauty, with an exhibit area of 130,000 sqm, and 13 exhibit halls attracting more than 2,000 exhibitors and over 400,000 professional visitors. Trio of The Expo included Mask Sourcing Fair, Si Hui Hair Care Festival, and 2nd China Medical Cosmetology Business Developing Forum, which kept surprising the audience.
Think Creatively, Beauty Blossom
The Expo is a one-stop beauty display salon, covering packaging &machinery, health care, hair care, facial mask, medical cosmetology, nail arts, and other beauty sectors.
Hall 10.2-Mask Leading mask brands including Magic, KanS, Mooncherry, and Fan Wenhua have presented the best of mask culture and business mode. More than 150 mask exhibitors like gNPearl, abel, MTING, and Hezhong, have completed the industrial chain in The Expo.
Hall 12.2-Medical Cosmetology International beauty salons such as Yumeiren, VICKY, ROYAL BELL, Dr. Laser, Airlie, Syneron, etc., displayed the latest products and technologies of cosmetology, starting the revolution of traditional beauty industry.
Hall 10.1-Hair Care Star hair programs including Hair Spa, Guiliyan, Yiyangfa, Lizhen, etc., have inspired visitors with new marketing strategies and franchising modes.
The Year of Chinese Mask
During the 2nd Mask Sourcing Fair, over 100,000 pieces of masks were delivered to visitors as surprising gifts. China Mask Business Developing Forum, and New Power of China Mask were incredible events in The Expo.
September 17, China Mask Business Developing Forum was held in Westin, by Guangdong Beauty & Cosmetic Association & Magic Holdings International Co., Ltd., and supported by PINGUAN MEDIA. High-end topics and guest invitation have attracted more than 300 mask brands, management experts, agents, and terminal stores. Opinions about mask variety and development were shared. AC Nielsen has interpreted the latest mask retailing information, while CTR presented Chinese consumer behaviors report. Deng Min, President of PINGUAN MEDIA, was the emcee of the wisdom seminar—Breakthrough within Mask Variety, interviewed Hu Xingguo with Huanya Group, She Yuyuan with Magic Holdings, Wang Guo’an with Shichangsheng Group, and Huang Shuji with Ogilvy Public Relations.
On September 18, New Power of China Mask, organized by Guangdong Beauty & Cosmetic Association, has attracted over 400 brands, agents, producers, and e-business agents of mask industry. Hosted by Fang Zhengyu, famous marketing consultant, the forum has covered mask R&D technologies, new brand promotion, mask marketing modes, and other hot issues. Strategic partners, Xiao Junkui, founder of Hainan He Zhong Hong Hua Nonwoven Industrial Co., Ltd., has made a speech of Revolution of Mask; Chen Yuxin, vice president of KanS, has shared opportunities in Weixin (Wechat) business. President Luo with Taking Media and President Li with Fanying Media have led gNPearl, Qibaicao, Fan Wenhua, 1895, Mask Family 1908, and other brands into the forum, sharing insightful industrial information.
The Era of Medical Cosmetology
The 2nd China Medical Cosmetology Business Developing Forum, organized by China Federation of Industry & Commerce Beauty Culture & Cosmetics Chamber and Guangdong Beauty & Cosmetic Association, was held in the afternoon of September 17. Ma Ya, president of the Medical Cosmetology Association, has delivered an opening speech; officials from national public health bureau have interpreted regulations and laws of medical cosmetology. Subassociations including anti-aging, stem cell, medical cosmetology technology, and Taiwan Association were established during The Expo. Doctors with great contributions were awarded in the event.
“Opportunities and challenges existing in the medical cosmetology era” was the focus of the forum. “The transit from daily beauty care to medical cosmetology”, “service of medical cosmetology”, and “the integration of daily beauty care and medical cosmetology”, were inspiring topics which have attracted wide interest. Moreover, policies, marketing strategies, and high-techs discussed helped audience build a clear blueprint of medical cosmetology.
New Business Opportunities of Hair Care
Si Hui Hair Care Festival, organized by Chinese national brand Si Yu Hair Spa, and China Hair Care Forum hosted by Ding Xing with 777 Hair, have invited guests to discuss new trend of hair care, scalp care, and scalp anti-aging. Also, the upgrade of traditional beauty salon and hair salon, and operation mode were discussed during the event. Whole salon franchising and traditional terminal store franchising were recommended by experts.
O2O Cosmetics Innovation Summit
The 3rd China Cosmetics Innovation Summit, organized by Guangdong Beauty & Cosmetic Association and China Cosmetics Innovation Commission of China Commerce Association for General Merchandise, was held in The Expo for the first time. Emceed by Professor Zhang Bingwu, the summit has invited elites in e-business such as Liu Yangzhi, He Weijun, Guo Leiping, Zeng Zhaozhi, and Wang Ting, who shared professional views of O2O and on-line operation advices.
New Media Alliance
The Expo has shown great creativity in media promotion. Cooperation with the biggest mobile media Vision China Media, The Expo’s promotion video was played regularly on metro TV in Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and another three major cities in China. GDTV, TVS, and SETV had live report on site. Famous hair media Salonv especially set direct broadcasting room on site, interviewing hair specialists and releasing news immediately.
