[FAIRNEWS] ICE Computer and Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. are announcing ICE’s xPC™ series of smartphone-sized, modular pocket PCs featuring a built-in SlimPort® (www.slimportconnect.com) interface solution from Analogix Semiconductor, Inc. during this week’s 2014 Computex show in Taipei, Taiwan.
The ultraportable xPC™ computer platform offers two versions, both of them using the Analogix SlimPort transmitter IC ANX7808: xPC™ PRO based on Intel Haswell/ Broadwell and xPC™ based on Intel Bay Trail platform.
“Today’s consumers are expecting smaller, cost-effective and more flexible computer platforms, as they are managing more and more content on the go,” said Scott Ma of ICE Computer. “Our xPC™ is compatible with the majority of displays, meaning that users can choose the best display for the best experience on any given project, as well as using already-owned display devices to share their content, thanks to their built-in SlimPort capabilities.”
