의 장을 마련할 목적으로 1979년 3월 개관한 한국 최초의 전시컨벤션센터이다.
총 1만 1000평(연면적 13만여 평) 규모로, 지상 4층, 지하 4층으로 이루어져 있
으며, 12개의 전문 전시실과 7000명을 동시에 수용할 수 있는 Hall D(컨벤션홀)
를 비롯해 54개의 회의실을 갖추고 있다. 또 국제 비즈니스를 위한 종합적인 지
원체제를 갖추고 연간 약 200회의 전시회와 2,000회의 국제 / 국내회의 및 이
벤트를 개최하는 한편, 해외 유수의 바이어와 국내 수출입업체를 직접 연결시키
는 등 교역 증대 역할도 한다.
전시?회의시설 외에도 초대형 복합 문화공간인 코엑스몰, 뮤지컬 전용 공연장,
3개의 5성급 호텔, 카지노, 백화점 등의 시설이 단지내에 위치하고 있어 국제회
의 및 전시회 개최지로서는 최상의 인프라를 갖추고 있다.
The Coex Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul is Korea's
venue of choice, providing more than 20 years of experience
and know-how in the local MICE industry. Coex is conveniently
located in the heart of Seoul's business district, and in-house
facilities include major 5-star hotels, a huge shopping mall,
numerous theaters and art spaces, and an advanced IT
infrastructure to ensure that all your needs -- be they
business, entertainment, shopping, or culture -- are met right
here under one roof.
The center consists of four main exhibition halls and 54meeting
rooms, and hosts a yearly average of 200 exhibitions and over
2,000 separate meetings and events. Convention and
conference spaces include two theater stages, a state-of-theart
auditorium, an elegant Grand Ballroom, a stately and historic
circular summit hall, and more. Coex's numerous and diverse
meeting rooms have maximum capacities that run from 12
people to 7,000, ensuring that your event will be
accommodated, regardless of its size or character.
